This blog is maintained by a group of Western expats and local Khmer to express our concerns about the modern day Child Protection Industry in Cambodia and NGO’s like APLE (Action pour les Enfants) in particular.

Vision

We believe that the western world has a wrong impression of some aspects of Cambodian culture and society. This misperception causes problems where organizations like APLE Cambodia profit from.

Organizations such as APLE like to present Cambodia still as an extremely poor country with ignorant people that rather look the way when it comes to child abuse; a Paradise for Pedophiles! This is absolutely not true, but organizations such as APLE Cambodia like western sponsors to believe this, only to get more funding.

APLE Cambodia relies for 100% on funding from western sponsors. They can only justify their existence and presence in the country by catching foreigners and present most exaggerated stories in the media.

Mission

Our goal is to expose APLE’s true intensions by showing the world that ‘Child Protectors’ like APLE are not trusted or appreciated by the local Khmer community at all.

As our group consists out of both Westerners and Khmer, we’re able to investigate cases that APLE works on ourselves by gathering our own information.

We follow all of APLE’s publications in the media and will post all proof of inconsistence, deceit and manipulation on internet.

Child Protection

Please allow us to express that we fully support all organizations that genuinely protect and defend the rights of children in Cambodia and in other countries in the world. Nobody should touch, hurt, exploit, abuse, pressure, extort or otherwise harm our children and their families in our country!

We do NOT empathize with anyone that abuses children, neither do we aim to defend those who sexually abuse or otherwise harm children.

However, we despise organizations that make ‘Child Protection’ into a good cause business, just to protect children look good in order to. . . protect clildren make money!

The purpose of this blog is to reveal the most modern form of Child Abuse known to man kind: . . . The Child Protection Industry of Cambodia. It's a million dollar business for businesses organisations like Thierry Darnaudet's APLE Cambodia! In Cambodia that's the kind of money to die lie for.

Child Protection Industry

After the Khmer Rouge regime Cambodia was an absolute mess! Poverty was all over the place; with no laws, no infrastructure, no hope and no future.

Cambodia as a nation - once the most powerful Kingdom in the region - was now weaker and more vulnerable than ever before. Like always, it’s the most vulnerable that pay the highest price: The Children!

Child Prostitution

Until about 10 years ago there was a village, located 11 kilometers North of Phnom Penh, called Svay Pak (better known as “Kilo 11” to the local Tuk-Tuk driver). This village was established pure for child prostitution. Children as young as 6 years old were sold for sex!

It has been cracked down by our Prime Minister Samdech Hun Sen himself, just like the child prostitution of Pattaya (Thailand) has been cracked down by the King of Thailand himself. So when in comes to it, there's really no need for organizations businesses like APLE Cambodia.

Child Exploitation

After Svay Pak was cracked down, a new child exploitation industry rapidly developed in Cambodia: . . . The Orphanage Business: Western tourists with a desire to ‘Do Good’ who decide to spend one or more days ‘Volunteering’ at an ‘Orphanage’. They can lift up Cambodian children, hug them, kiss them, make pictures of them and even take them out of the orphanage . . . as long as they pay their fee (more than $1000 per week).

Now our Hun Sen Government is cracking down on those 'orphanages' , but a new business model to protect exploit children has already been established . . . The Child Protection Industry!

Protecting children Hunting ‘Pedophiles’ appears to be a  good cause business model that brings in real dollars!!! And again it doesn’t matter if a couple of children and their families need to be legally counseled presured & damaged for the good cause for profit
